Conditionals

Conditionals or Conditional Sentences are also known as Conditional Clauses or If Clauses. They are used to express that the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled. There are three types of Conditional Sentences (I, II, and III) or others say that there are four types (0, I, II, and III).

    1. Hallo Ana..
Conditional type 0 expresses things which always happen. If one thing happens, then another thing always happen. That's why we use the present tense in both clauses (If Clause and Result Clause.
While in conditional type 1 , If Clause talks about probable future action or condition. The meaning of both clauses is about the future, but the If Clause is in Present Tense not Future Tense.
